Dent Parrachée is a warm refuge located at 2520 meters of altitude in the Vanoise National (French Alps). It is named following the nearby summit of the Dent Parachée, which rises to 3694 meters high. It offers a wide range of mountaineering activities, from alpine climbing to nordic skiing or simple hiking.
The hut is usually guarded during March and April and from June to mid-September. The capacity is for 42 people when guarded and 24 during automn and winter. The hut has been recenlty refurbished with new termal and photovoltaic solar pannels, as well as a pico hydroelectric power station.
