Mountain hut Dom Valentina Staniča pod Triglavom is located in the core area of Julian Alps on small plateau above Peak Visoka Vrbanova Špica at the altitude 2.332 m. From the hut there is great view towards Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia and to Triglav north side, including triglav glacier (the last piece of the real glacier). Hut is accessable only by foot from glacier valleys of Vrata and Kot, the shortest hike takes 4h30min.
Hut is open from end of June till mid September and has a capacity to acommodate 97 people.
