The Bachimaña hut is located in the Alto Gallego region, at an altitude of 2200m, in the same vestibule of a whole set of glacial cirques, now occupied in its base by a great number of tarns (mountain lakes), such as those of Gramatuero, Pezico and the well-known Blue tarns. It is surrounded by an impressive range of peaks and crests of great beauty, some of them surpassing the three thousand meters of altitude, such as Los Infiernos, La Gran Facha or Garmo Negro and Argualas. At the same time, the hut is in within the GR11, the Trans-Pyrenean Trail. The hut has capacity for 80 people and was launched on July 14, 2012.
