SustianHuts presented in Iberconappice 2017, the congress that brings together the main technological advances of hydrogen and fuel cells

The Ibero-American Conference of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (Iberconappice) was celebrated the last October in Technological Park Walqa, Huesca. Among the numerous presentations that covered technical, research and economic topics, the main advances and objectives of SustainHuts were defended within the applications section.

The IBERCONAPPICE congress, of international reference, includes plenary sessions on European, national and regional strategies, about the latest advances in research and related to the applications of fuel cells and hydrogen in the industrial field. And of course, sessions on high and low temperature fuel cells, materials, legislation, personnel training and, in short, everything that surrounds this technology and its applications.

Within the presentations on applications, the SustainHuts project has highlighted due to the originality of its objectives and methodology. The assistants were able to see first-hand the proposed sustainable objectives, the operation of the mountain huts and the main advances of the project regarding the future integration of a hydrogen cycle in the Bachimaña hut, Huesca. The presentation was made by Lorién Gracia, one of the engineers in charge of the project at the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragón.
